Doing What's Right, Despite All Odds!

The Ghost Catcher is a tongue-in-cheek story about Hailey Hatmaker, a teenager who sees auras and can tell what is going to happen to a person with that information. She's also the best ghost-catcher in the world, but not a lot of people are really into her doing this job. Not since she and her buds – the Landry Ghosties made a whole lot of trouble back in seventh grade.

So, what's Hailey to do when she sees that two friends are in grave danger? Why grab the only other Ghostie still in Landry and take off to deal with the problem. Isn't that friends are for?

Too many teens these days aren't sure what to do in a bad situation. They look to adults to show them what to do, but those adults often are confused themselves. It's so easy to read about heroes who jump into action, who come through to save the day, but do it yourself?

Unthinkable … or is it?

What does it take to become one of those teens we read about? Those teens who ignore danger and jump in to take care of things?

A sense of adventure isn't necessary …

Nor is a Superman complex …

All it takes is a deep down desire to do the right thing.

Yes, it's that simple. Hailey and her friend, Sly, prove that all it takes is a deep down desire to do the right thing, to stop a problem in its tracks. They don't care about any punishment that may be coming. These intrepid ghost catchers know their duty, and they prove that so well in The Ghost Catcher.
