Where U @ - The Consequences of Texting and Driving

Welcome to the Tuesday blog for my Book of The Week! We're featuring Where U @ this week, a book about texting and driving.

The message to avoid texting while driving has been out for many years, but it seems there are more and more accidents attributed to this recently.

Gwent Police in the U.K. decided to let the world see a demonstration of what can happen when someone texts and drives.

This video exploded into existence in 2009, but it's message is just as important now, five years later. Texting, even for just a second, can and does have tragic results.
In Where U @, Trea loves the music of Shy-Anne Horvorka. This song becomes what Trea leans on after a texting and driving accident.
100,000 accidents every year are the result of texting and driving. This documentary has people from both sides of these accidents talking about the impact this act has on their lives.
From one second to the next, your life can change because of a text.
The images in these videos aren't nice. They aren't meant to be. They're meant to prove that texting and driving doesn't work.
Where U @? Driving? Don't look. Don't text and drive.

Blurb:

The text is from my guy, Dave Woods. It's a code, a way for him to help me feel better about everything. Mostly, it's his way of showing me that he cares.
