E Ticket Ride

Good morning and welcome to Sunday Blog Share. Today, we’re talking about how freedom is never free.

Freedom is a precious commodity. We never know what it’s like not to have freedom until it’s taken away from use. Many will accept this loss but there are groups of people willing to risk it all to get back what they’ve lost.

We are survivors!

“An E Ticket Ride was the best of the best at Disneyland.”

Her granny’s words give Tish an upbeat moment as she prepares to finish high school. She’s thinking about graduation, going to college in Montana, and not returning to the mountains of Northwest Georgia for a good long time. The idea of spending time with her granny at an entertainment venue she’s only heard about sounds fun.

Within a few short weeks, tension grips her world. Mysterious Man o’ War shaped space craft are headed toward Earth. No one at NASA can get in touch with these visitors. Then, only a day before her graduation, Tish’s world explodes into a fight for survival. Who will win—Invaders or Humans?

“You, sweetie.” Granny’s grin grew wider. “You are going to have your own E Ticket ride, and I want to show you what that’s all about.”

About K.C. Sprayberry

Living a dream she’s had since she first discovered the magic of books. K.C. Sprayberry traveled the U.S. and Europe before finally settling in the mountains of Northwest Georgia. She’s been married to her soulmate for nearly a quarter of a century and they enjoy spoiling their grandchildren along with many other activities.

A multi-genre author, K.C. Sprayberry is always on the hunt for new stories. Inspiration strikes at the weirdest times and drives her to grab notebook and pen to jot down her ideas. Those close to her swear nothing or no one is safe if she’s smiling gently in a corner and watching those in the same room interact. Her observations have often given her ideas for her next story, set not only in the South but wherever the characters demand they settle.
